ARENDAL, NORWAY LOCATION: Strømmen, near the town of Arendal in southern Norway. DATE/TIME: 18 November 1981 PHOTO CREDIT: Arne P. Thomassen. COMMENTS: The camera was mounted on a tripod. A strong flashing light was seen moving towards the right. A yellow light was moving towards the right, with red flashes occurring sometimes above the yellow light. The exposure time was many seconds. The movement of the light makes a yellow trace on the film. One red flash was also captured during the exposure.
