HESSDALEN, NORWAY
LOCATION: Just north of the town Røros, in direction north-west (towards the Hessdalen valley).

COMMENTS: Thor Stuedal, Erling Strand and Larry Lemke were driving in a car when suddenly they became aware of a flashing light moving slowly up the mountain hill. Until they had managed to stop the car, get out, and find the camera, the light had nearly moved to the top of the mountain. The flashing frequency was about 1 Hz. During the exposure time of approx 4 seconds, 4 flashes occurred. Previous photo is enlarged here.
